Recent Travels!

Claremont, CA
Washington D.C.
Sevilla, Espana
Claremont is home base for our college life. The CARE center is where Lupe first started flirting with Fallyn (couger). So many specular memories here. This photo is one of the more recent ones but it sums up how we feel about each other so well.
D.C. was our very first home together. After a rough period of long distance and study abroad, we were able to settle in a completely new city together. Don’t get me wrong—that came with its challenges. We saw parts of one another that maybe we didn’t love so much. But we strengthened our bond, learned how to communicate, and loved through it all. D.C. symbolizes the beginning of our young love. Hopefully, we are on a path to cultivate and carve out the most nurturing lives for ourselves.
Remember when we ordered a bunch of shots and the waitress looked at us like we were crazy? And then we… oh, well, never mind—tehe.

Chicago, IL
Zion, Utah
Red Rock, Las Vegas
Chicago was the most special time. I felt pure peace, serenity, joy knowing that the two most important aspects of my Lupe (lupe + my family) were coming together to meet for the first time. It was an important part of not only coming our, but doing so with my best friend.
When you were studying abroad, you wrote in your tiny journal about us. You wrote that we would one day be able to visit Zion and explore the wild. See where that Lauryn Hill song was talking about. Well, this year in April, we were able to visit there with Miss Kimmy, It was sweet to see one of our dreams come true in front of our eyes like that.
Red Rock! Vegas Trip #1. The infamous Miss Kimmy and Lupe yap. Part 38298 of Fallyn introducing Lupe to her family, and the family liking Lupe more than Fallyn.
Ahhh. I digress.
Mi Amor,
[Verse 3: Lauryn Hill]
These buildings could drift out to sea
Some natural catastrophe
Still, there’s no place I’d rather be
‘Cause nothing even matters to me (Ooh)
See, nothing even matters (Yeah)
See, nothing even matters to me
Nothing even matters (Oh)
Nothing even matters to me[Verse 4: D’Angelo, Lauryn Hill]
You’re part of my identity
I sometimes have a tendency (Ooh, oh)
To look at you religiously (Baby, baby)
‘Cause nothing even matters, to me
Nothing even matters
Nothing even matters to me (Nothing even matters)
Said it don’t matter, baby, baby
Don’t matter
